Kiera Austin: Australian Diamond and Melbourne Vixen, ACL Reconstruction, Women’s Health

A lifelong dream came true for Kiera Austin when she debuted for the Australian Diamonds in 2021. Unfortunately, that season was cut short when she ruptured her ACL and missed the remainder of the season. 

Kiera discusses her sporting journey growing up from swimming to soccer and everything in between, netball was her one true love. She shares how she balances her career now as a professional netballer with studies, coaching and her personal life.

Kiera has recently finished her studies in Medical Science and hopes to work in the medical field potentially around women's health when the time comes to finish playing professional netball.
